ioGenetics has designed and produced a number of different Directed Biocides!" that target high impact bacterial, protozoal, and viral diseases.

ioGenetics' first line of products has been developed as part of a Biodefense NIH grant aimed at controlling Cryptosporidium parvum. These products are currently undergoing clinical testing in an animal model.

Other Directed Biocide™ products under development target important food contaminants like Listeria monocytogenes and Escherichia coli for which there are currently only limited control mechanisms.

Work is on-going on a broader range of antibacterial and other antimicrobial products, including alternatives for control of antibiotic resistant organisms.
