Our logo recalls the aurochs of the cave paintings of Lascaux, France, evidence dating back 17,000 years of the close relationship and interdependence between human beings and their livestock. Ever since mankind started to domesticate animals there has been progressive genetic selection of livestock, enabling better products that support human and animal well-being. The tradition of livestock genetic selection continues into the 21st century, and now includes powerful new transgenic techniques that allow the production of life-saving products in the milk of mammals.
